State among lowest for foreclosures
HONOLULU - A report finds that Hawaii is among the states with the lowest number of completed foreclosures.
The new report by Calif.-based firm CoreLogic looked at foreclosures in September. It found that Hawaii had 436. Only South Dakota and the District of Columbia had fewer.
The five states with the highest numbers of foreclosures were California, Florida, Texas, Georgia and Michigan. Those states account for more than 47 percent of completed foreclosures nationally.
