Movie to be shown at Calvary Chapel
Calvary Chapel will show the family-friendly movie "Christmas with a Capital C" beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, according to an announcement.
The church is at 575 S. Kihei Road. Child care will be provided, and dinner will be available for purchase.

Day of Prayer event to be held Monday
The Maui County Baptist Association Women will sponsor a Day of Prayer at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Kahului Baptist Church.
The focus of the event will be to be "In Step With the Spirit - Joy," according to an announcement.
Participants will pray, study God's word and learn how "to share the joy and love of Christ."
Dinner will be provided after the program. The church is at 309 S. Puunene Ave.
