Hawaiian music legend Henry Kapono inspires Wailuku youngsters to put their arms around one another and sway back and forth while singing his classic “Friends” at the Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Resource Center. Kapono visited the center as part of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Artist in the Community outreach program. Kapono, half of the legendary Cecilio & Kapono, is scheduled to perform tonight in the MACC’s Castle Theater. His “Home in the Islands 2012” performance starts at 7:30 p.m.
