Alfredo Badua Bumanglag, 75

Alfredo Badua Bumanglag, 75, of Kihei, passed away on October 27, 2012 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on December 2, 1936 in San Nicholas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.

Services are scheduled for Friday, November 9, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at St. Theresa Church in Kihei, Prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation continues on Saturday, November 10 at the church from 8 am to 9 am, Mass at 9 am; Burial to follow at 10:30 am at Maui Memorial Park.

He was a former mechanic with Maui Pine. He also owned and operated Arvin Trader Fresh Produce, and was a weekly produce vendor at the Maui Swap Meet for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Wilfreda F. Bumanglag; sons, Arvin (Linh) Bumanglag and Michael (Gigi) Bumanglag; daughters, Elizabeth (Dindo) Garcia and Ofelia Bumanglag; brothers, Monico Bumanglag, Modesto Bumanglag, Felimon Bumanglag, Rueben Bumanglag and Cesar Bumanglag; sisters, Maria Badua and Lydia Pagtama; grandchildren, Alan and Ethan Bumanglag, Dyllen, DeAngelo and Kiana Garcia, Michaela, Aiden-Josh and Zakery Bumanglag.

He loved to spend time with all of his grandchildren and working around his home and gardening.

We especially invite everyone to join us for those he had touched with his kindness and generosity.
