GUADALAJARA, Mexico (AP) - Michelle Wie fell from a tie for the lead into a tie for 12th in the Lorena Ochoa Invitational on Friday.

Wie, a Punahou School graduate, carded a 3-over-par 75 in the second round at Guadalajara Country Club for a 3-under total of 141. She was eight shots behind the leader, Angela Stanford (67).

The second of Wie's two LPGA Tour victories came at the Ochoa Invitational in 2010.

Stanford, who had six birdies Friday - including four in a row on the seventh through 10th holes - won the inaugural event in 2008.

Inbee Park was two shots back after a 68. Cristie Kerr was third at 146 under after a 69.

Wie opened her round with a double bogey, and played the front nine in 3 over. She had two birdies and two bogeys on the back, and played the course's four par-5 holes in 1 over.
