I'm thinking, based on what I've read about cane burning, that some of us are cheated from our fair share of it. I'm almost moved to propose we bottle it so we can all have a taste.
I do not propose we do away with sugar cane, but I do think we should take advantage of having so much of it. And since we all pay a share of the subsidy, we should get the state and the cane people into making ethanol from it, which is a far cheaper way than using corn.
Modern cars need only a change in their onboard computers to burn 100 percent of it successfully.
I'm left to wonder why any glimmer of intelligence is so rare these days.
