November 11, 2012
The Maui News

A total of $10,096 was raised during the Komen for the Cure Charity Golf Tournament held on Oct. 20 at the Wailea Emerald Course.

Tournament proceeds were donated to the Hawaii affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, an nonprofit organization that aids in the fight against breast cancer.

"We're thrilled about how much we were able to raise for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and very appreciative of the many people - volunteers, sponsors, and players - for their generosity and hard work," said Jennifer McNally, tournament co-organizer and Wailea Golf Club director of sales and marketing.

Wailea Golf Club closed the Emerald Course and waived green fees for the tournament.
