I was shocked to hear of the passing of former Planning Director Chris Hart (The Maui News, Nov. 13). Although I only knew him for a little while, he was the kind of person who it felt like you knew forever.
The trips he made to our meetings in Hana gave me the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person.
He was a gentle giant with a kind heart. I want to extend my deepest condolences to his family. Blessings and prayers to all of you throughout the loss of your loved one.
