Voting by mail: Well, I think it's a done deal now, but it won't happen overnight. All of the right people are in favor of it, but it'll take a while to get everything in line. As many as six years, I'm told.
So, what do we do? We register for an absentee ballot. How do you get the application? Phone the County Clerk's Office, elections division, at 270-7749 and it will be mailed to you. Fill it out, sign it and mail it back to them. They will check your signature on it and register you for an absentee ballot for the next election.
Simple as that. Hey, no need drive no place. Some good, yeah.
