I was very disappointed that Travaasa hotel removed the shower at Hamoa Beach.
It was enjoyed by the hotel's own guests and locals who clean up before getting back on the road.
I have witnessed several people who felt just like me, looking for the shower. I was informed by an employee of the hotel that there was a fight with the county for the water bill and the hotel was cutting costs and decided to remove it.
I witnessed a lady with a baby looking to clean up, and my husband asked the employee to let her use their hose.
What a shame, Travaasa, you came to Maui but you don't care for the community. Where is your aloha spirit?
