Eight new queens were chosen before a sold-out crowd Oct. 27 at Maui Tropical Plantation for the second annual Miss T.E.E.N. Maui & Miss Maui Princess Pageant.
Those selected were Miss T.E.E.N. Maui - Kayleena Park; Miss Maui Intercontinental- Natasha Thorell; Junior T.E.E.N. Maui - Amber Estrada; Pre-T.E.E.N. Maui Princess - Ameera Waterford; Young Miss Maui Princess - Brandi Kamalani; Little Miss Maui Princess - Mia Suh; Mini Miss Maui Princess - Kaya de la Nux; and Tiny Miss Maui Princess - Arianna-Isabella Kawaiaea.
The girls were selected from a field of 28 by judges Pam Kimura, Leah Bolosan Belmonte, Ron Silva, Lynn Araki-Regan, Michael Gingerich and Saedene Ota.

This pageant brings together girls who are not only beautiful, smart and determined but also are committed to their communities and making a difference, according to a pageant news release.
"It is our hope that our program will assist the contestants in achieving their professional and personal goals through education, and the importance of making a difference in our community," said Doug De Cambra, Maui's event executive director.
The newly crowned Miss T.E.E.N. Maui and Miss Maui Princess 2013 will represent the Valley Isle in the 2013 Miss T.E.E.N Hawaii Pageant slated for April 21 at the Hawaii Convention Center. The pageant will be televised on KHON FOX2 and CW from 9 to 10 p.m. May 4.
