The production of sugar cane on Maui lately has not only proved to be an annoyance, but a health issue. I am certain that the Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co. should propose some sort of act that contains the dust pollution.
Many people don't know what is entering their bodies when they breathe the air, not to mention what lies in the dust.
I believe that the company should try to contain dust to prevent the spread of pesticide germs, dust bacteria and many other chemicals that the dust holds. This proposal would come to the liking of many people who may want the company out.
It would be nice to know that officials care about the well-being of the citizens on the island. This would also give more people a feel of what the company is trying to do to help its customers.
