A "technical problem" with a vendor for Bank of Hawaii disrupted services -- including debit card and ATM transactions -- for two hours this morning,
"We recognize this was a bad day for this to occur and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused customers," said the bank's spokesman Stafford Kiguchi, referring to the "Black Friday," one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
The services were down from 9:20 to 11:30 a.m., he said.
Services impacted included online banking, ATMs, debit card transactions and some banking services at branches, Kiguchi said Friday.
Credit card transactions were not affected.
