Setup for poinsettia sale

First Photo: University of Hawaii Maui College agriculture students Eddie Rodman (right) and Owen Kusakabe measure a poinsettia plant that was planted in August and is scheduled to be sold to the public Saturday during the school's annual holiday plant and ceramics sale.

Second Photo: The fundraisers for the college's agriculture and art departments are scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Kahului campus. Preparations were in full swing Tuesday with UH-Maui College senior Celine Buckley-Taylor pulling weeds from poinsettia plants while helping prepare them for sale.

Third Photo: Wend-orrie Pawai measured a poinsettia plant while instructor Cynthia Nazario-Leary recorded the data. Nazario-Leary also serves as the director of the college's New Farmers Network.
