Heart Association accepts $10,000 check from Central Pacific Bank

Central Pacific Bank has given a $10,000 check to the American Heart Association in support of its 15th annual Maui Heart Walk.

Lori Suan, executive director of the Hawaii division, and Kauwela Bisquera, regional director for Maui, accepted the check on behalf of the association.

The check was presented by bank CEO and President John Dean and Senior Vice President/Neighbor Island Regional Manager Alvin Imada.

Central Pacific Bank sponsored the Maui Heart Walk, which was chaired by Imada.

The walk is the signature fundraising event for the American Heart Association and is part of the "My Heart. My Life." platform, to empower the community to get healthier.
