Thelma Kahili Cummings, 94, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on November 23, 2012, at her home. She was born on February 19, 1918, in Kahului.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center in Kahului; the service will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Na Wai Eha Cemetery in Wailuku.
Thelma retired from the Maui Pineapple Company. She was pre-deceased by her son, Ross Cummings; survived by her sons, Thomas Cummings, Colin (Mona) Kailiponi; daughters, Leola Cummings, Daphne (William) Sing, Audrett "Kiki" Cummings; daughter-in-law Noe (Ross) Cummings, sisters, Frances "Manu" Brand, Leiana Woodside; brothers, Alex "Dear" Long, William "Malu" Long; brother-in-law, Melvin Cummings; 24 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
