Jenee Brown hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 15 points to help the Hawaii Baptist Academy girls basketball team defeat Kapolei 40-31 in Saturday's Wahine Classic championship game at Erdman Athletic Center.
Hayler Dixon scored 11 points for the Eagles, going 6-for-8 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter. Rylie Wade also sank two 3-pointers, and finished with eight points.
Bernice Ching and Chermayne Yago each scored nine points for the Hurricanes.
* KALAHEO 39, HANA-LANI 31: Jade Martins scored eight of her 17 points in the fourth quarter, helping Kalaheo come back from an 18-15 halftime deficit.
Dylan McCorquodale and Sarah Liva each scored 10 points for Hanalani, and Catherine Armstrong added eight.
* PUNAHOU II 38, BALDWIN 24: Punahou allowed nine first-half points on the way to taking fifth place.
Laakea Marquez scored 10 points for the Buffanblu, and Melissa Nakamoto added eight, going 6-for-6 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.
Kaci Shimabuku scored 13 points for Baldwin, which was held without a field goal in the final period.
* SEABURY HALL 42, KAMEHAMEHA MAUI 40: Seabury Hall held off a second-half rally to take seventh place.
Tiare Camarillo scored 12 points for the Spartans - 10 in the second quarter, which ended with Seabury leading 32-21.
The Spartans got 10 points from Pili Hao-Meyer.
Ashley Tanoue-Singson had 19 points for Kamehameha Maui, and Jayden Almeida added 13.
