Keola Beamer album nominated

Lahaina resident Keola Beamer was nominated for a Grammy Award in the best regional roots music album category for his album "Malama Ko Aloha," or "Keep Your Love."

In the same category, Oahu resident Weldon Kekauoha received a nomination for his "Pilialoha" album. Other category nominees were Radmilla Cody for "Shi Keyah Songs For the People;" Corey Ledet with Anthony Dopsie, Dwayne Dopsie and Andre Thierry for "Nothing But the Best"; and Wayne Toups, Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy for "The Band Courtbouillon."
