Defensive lineman Tevita Finau, a former student at Maui High School and Lahainaluna who graduated from Kahuku, was signed to the New York Jets' practice squad on Wednesday.
Last week, the 26-year-old Finau was released from the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad. He was signed by Dallas earlier in the month, but was let go to make room for wide receiver Andre Holmes on the practice roster.
Finau, who played at Utah, has spent time on practice squads of the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals, but has not appeared in a game.
