Golfing for a good cause

December 7, 2012
The Maui News
Shane Victorino shares a laugh with longtime friend M.J. Palazzatto on Thursday on the Wailea Emerald Course. The nine-year major league ballplayer, who earlier this week agreed to a $39 million three-year contract with the Boston Red Sox, was hosting the golf benefit for his Shane Victorino Foundation. The St. Anthony grad, previously with the Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Dodgers, held the tournament that included Red Sox pitcher Clay Bucholz, retired major leaguer Steve Garvey and Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins.
