I am surprised The Maui News would print such a hateful and racist letter as a Nov. 27 letter.
I am a former Marine and a Vietnam veteran who happens to be a Democrat, and I take offense to the letter writer's incendiary remarks.
Americans fight and die in our country so people can be free to speak their mind, but hurling hateful and racist insults at the millions who surely don't see it the same way is un-American and offensive.
