Are you kidding me?
It's 8.30 in the morning on Dec. 4 - the first vog-clear day in over a week. Not a breath of wind and Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co. decides this is a good day to burn.
Don't get me wrong, when you consider the alternative, Alexander & Baldwin is going to make money off that land in some way, so I'd rather see fields of cane than housing.
But, people, let's use some common sense here - when the forecast is for southerly very light wind, you don't burn.
