Pair of VIRR races scheduled for Dec. 15
The Valley Isle Road Runners Christmas 10K and Mile are scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 15, starting at the Wailuku Municipal Parking Lot off of Vineyard Street.
Race numbers can be obtained from 6:30 to 7:20 a.m. on the day of the race.
The races do not have an entry fee, but membership in VIRR is required.
Canned goods and monetary donations for the Maui Food Bank are being accepted.

Final U.S. Soccer Federation referee recertification for 2012 is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the ILWU Building at 896 Lower Main St. in Wailuku.
