On Dec. 2, my family home of 29 years was robbed.
No one was home for an hour, and in the hour time span, my home was burglarized.
Whoever did it knew exactly where the valuables were in the house. They came in by taking out the jalousies from a window and crawling through.
What really hurts is the fact that the valuables that were taken had sentimental value especially to my mom, who has many health issues.
The thieves probably only wanted the valuables to sell so they could have money for drugs.
Meanwhile, my family - the victim - suffers.
I am so mad that this happened, but I know that the thieves would probably steal from their own family to get drugs.
People say that it is only material possessions and that's true. No one got hurt and I am so thankful for that. My family is still in shock and so devastated.
