The 17th annual Memorial Tree Trimming event will take place a 2 p.m. today at Wailuku Union Church in Wailuku. Registration will begin at 1:30 p.m. The event is presented by the Heaven Sent Support Group for Bereaved Parents as a way to remember someone special during the holiday season. Participants are asked to bring a personalized ornament or ornaments to place on the tree. Paper ornaments will be available for anyone unable to bring ornaments of their own.
