Madriaga earns all-region honors
Lenoir-Rhyne freshman defender Amber Madriaga, a Baldwin High School graduate, was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Southeast Region third team earlier this month.
Madriaga helped Lenoir-Rhyne limit opponents to 11 goals in 20 games this season, and had three assists. The Bears went 16-2-2, including a 9-0 mark in the South Atlantic Conference.

Corneil aces No. 2 at Waiehu
Tony Corneil of Kahului recorded a hole-in-one at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course on Wednesday.
Corniel aced the second hole, using a 9-iron for the 139-yard shot, which was witnessed by Cesar Cabreros, Craig Yatsushiro and James Nagoshi.

Bronco League forms to be distributed
The Maui Bronco League will distribute registration forms from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at War Memorial Little League Field No. 2 for the Shetland (4-6), Pinto (7-8), Mustang (9-10) and Bronco (11-12) age divisions.
