MIL soccer: Lahainaluna continues unbeaten start

The Lahainaluna High School boys soccer team extended its unbeaten start to the Maui Interscholastic League season to six games on Saturday, getting two goals from Noah Camara in a 5-0 victory over St. Anthony at War Memorial Stadium.

Camara scored in the fourth and 47th minutes.

Rhys Lendio (30th), Sergio Gallardo (42nd) and Javier Ramirez (52) also scored for the Lunas (5-0-1), who hold a seven-point lead in the Division I standings.

The Trojans have lost all seven of their games.

* BALDWIN BOYS 5, HANA 1: At Hana, five players had goals for Baldwin.

Derek Hight scored for the Bears (3-1-0) in the 21st minute, Nick Lawrence in the 27th, Jaren Otani in the 37th, Kyson Kaiama in the 44th and Matt Foronda in the 63rd.

Johannes scored the first and last goals of the match - in the 16th minute on an assist from Shauni Okazaki, and unassisted in the 73rd.

Tiana Lucas assisted on Yamashiro's goal in the 23rd minute, and Yamashiro also scored in the 70th.

Johannes assisted on a goal by Lucas in the 24th.

Seabury Hall fell to 0-3-1.

The Spartans won the junior varsity game.

* BALDWIN GIRLS 9, HANA 0: At Hana, Baldwin (5-1-0) took over sole possession of first place D-I.

Hana, the top team in the Division II race, fell to 2-4-0.
