The Kamehameha Schools Maui girls soccer team claimed sole possession of second place in the Maui Interscholastic League Division I standings by defeating Hana 8-0 on Friday at Kanaiaupuni Stadium.
The Warriors improved to 5-2-0, while the Dragons fell to 2-5-0. Names of the goal scorers were not available.
Kamehameha beat Hana 7-0 in the boys game.
Konapiliahi Dancil, Acer Pahukoa, Chandler Alo, Kaisyn Lee, Avinash Singh, Brennan Joaquin and Taylor Kaaukai each had goals for the Warriors (4-1-0).
The Dragons dropped to 2-5-0.
