Lahainaluna High School's Bubba Jaramillo won his second wrestling championship in eight days on Saturday, taking first place at 140 pounds in the Hawaii Officials Tournament at the Leilehua gym in Wahiawa, Oahu.
Jaramillo, who claimed a title last weekend in the Maui Invitational Tournament, was one of seven Lunas to place on Saturday.
The other Lahainaluna boys in the top six were Connor Mowat, the runner-up at 215, Robert Campos (third at 135), Justin Taylor (third at 171) and Christian Balagso (fifth at 108). Tekau Taamu was fourth in girls 140, and Malia Refamonte was sixth in girls 97.

Jaramillo defeated Jonathan Kamaka of Kamehameha Kapalama 5-1 in the title match.
The Lunas finished fourth in the team standings with 136 points - Kamehameha won with 232.5.
Danny Welds-Ebanks of Baldwin was the boys 189 runner-up, and teammate Jahffrey Akina was third at 114. King Kekaulike's Curtis Palmeira was fifth at 135.
Also placing in the girls competition were King Kekaulike's Jenna Mauliola (third at 113) and Kyla Aruda (fifth at 109), and Kamehameha Maui's Kiana Soloria (fourth at 97) and Ether Wallace (fourth at 121). King Kekaulike and Lahainaluna tied for 17th place in the team standings.
