Kula keiki Kaya Malabon, 2, follows friend Bella Olaitiman up the slide at Keokea Park on Wednesday afternoon. “She’s an adventurous girl, fearless and adventurous,” said her mom. The kids were warming up on a sunny afternoon after a night that saw temperatures drop into the 50s in Kula. Overnight lows are expected to range from 66 to 71 degrees today and Saturday, with high temperatures of 78 to 83, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters predict partly cloudy skies with scattered showers in windward and mauka areas, with isolated showers in leeward regions. Mostly cloudy skies and hazy conditions are expected Sunday and Monday, with scattered and isolated showers.
