Do as I say, not as I do. I am guilty of allowing my son to talk me into buying him a few of those violent video games like "Grand Theft Auto," "Tour of Duty" and "Halo," to name a few.
How many times do we need to hear the sensationalized news reports of yet another killing spree that is nothing more than an extension of video game violence carried out by some misguided young man? I can only imagine that this kind of rampage does not seem so out of the ordinary to these young men. It's not so farfetched for him to grab the real assault weapon out of the closet and go to the next level. Here are some things we need to do to honor the latest young victims in Connecticut.
* Get rid of assault weapons.
* Get rid of violent video games. Just throw them away if you own them.
* Stop watching Fox News and other sensationalized news programs.
