Paper not keeping Mauians informed about GOP

December 28, 2012
The Maui News

I find it hard to believe that the only paper on Maui the two days (Dec. 21 and 22) did not put any articles about the Republican House and the fiscal cliff.

Is The Maui News afraid to inform Mauians that the Republicans could not even pass something they had proposed to stop the cliff and abruptly closed shop and left town without any action? The same week, Eric Cantor said they would stay till it was worked out.

Guess The Maui News' bias during the election to Republican causes still is evident and it does not want to inform Maui people about the serious inaction of our leaders in Congress.

We all will feel the harm if no actions are taken, and time is running out.

I feel The Maui News needs to inform people, even if it something that shows harm to the Republican Party and its do-nothing Congress.
