HANAPEPE, Kauai (AP) - Kauai police say a young man died after his motorcycle collided with a truck in Hanapepe.
Police have identified the victim as 25-year-old Brian Cesario of Kalaheo.
Police say Cesario was traveling east Wednesday evening when his motorcycle struck the truck making a left turn from the Kaumualii Highway onto Puolo Road.
Cesario was taken to Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital where he died of his injuries. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
The 71-year-old driver of the pickup received minor injuries.
