The Dec. 22 letter "Parents to blame for today's out-of-control kids" is so right on. It should be published nationwide and republished herein.
One further point the letter writer could have made is that so many kids today grow up in single/working parent homes, absent of any parenting.
In the 1960s, my nonworking wife and I brought up five kids successfully. Can it be done today? Statistically, probably not. What a shame.
