No constitutional right to bear ammunition

December 29, 2012
The Maui News

You have the right to bear arms but no where does it say you have the right to bear ammunition. I see this now as wording of the ratified amendment.

Even in the Bill of Rights, there is no mention of legal owning of ammunition. Of any size. Maybe the Bill of Rights is due and we owe.

People must have assumed arms and ammunition are the same.

Apples and oranges are both fruits. Imagine if Adam and Eve ate an orange. Orange you glad they didn't?

We may not be so wise and we would bare arms differently.

Steve Jobs inventing the orange and not apple.

I believe this Second Amendment was made during a time when single-shot muskets were use and was never amended since then. I assume any arms that can fire one or as many bullets in a few minutes is an assault.
