Dustin Johnson signs autographs for golf fans as he leaves the Kapalua Plantation Course’s 18th green midway through his Hyundai Tournament of Champions Pro-am round Thursday morning. The PGA Tour season-opening event is scheduled to tee off today with an opening ceremony that begins at 9:45 a.m. Scheduled to take part in the ceremony are Kapalua cultural adviser Clifford Naeole, cast members from ‘Ulalena, Grammy winner George Kahumoku and Na Hoku winner Amy Hanaiali’i Gilliom. The first tee time for the $5.7 million event, with a winner’s prize of $1.12 million, follows at 10:35.
