Hawaii volleyball loses again at Brigham Young

The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team came up empty on its season-opening road trip to Provo, Utah.

Taylor Sander had 18 kills and Ryan Boyce had 43 assists as No. 2 Brigham Young beat Hawaii 25-21, 25-21, 24-26, 25-19 in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match on Saturday.

JP Marks had 14 kills and Nick West added nine for Hawaii (2-0, 0-2), which was swept by BYU (2-0, 2-0) on Friday. Max Wechsung had 40 assists and Matthew Cheape had 11 digs for the Warriors.
