Math in story was correct but not in headline

January 10, 2013
The Maui News

Regarding the article "Nearly a quarter of adults admit nodding off while driving" (The Maui News, Jan. 4): The articles states that 1 in 24 U.S. adults say they recently fell asleep while driving.

Obviously falling asleep happens also to the headline's writer making the calculation. One in 24 is far from a quarter (as the headline states), it's about 4 percent.
