UC Irvine went on a late 8-0 run to beat Hawaii 68-64 on Wednesday at Irvine, Calif.
Chris McNealy scored 15 points and three others reached double-figures for the Anteaters (8-9, 2-2).
Vander Joaquim scored 15 points and Christian Standhardinger added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Rainbow Warriors (9-6, 3-1).
