DUI Sentences

The following sentences for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of Jan. 8 to 11. The listings include the offender's name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Wailuku District Court:

Paul Anthony Fernandez, 47, Waikapu; DUI; five-day jail term, $437 in fees.

Gail K. Hoapili, 56, Waihee; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.

Sean Isao Iida, 40, Honolulu; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.

Shelby Kalawaia, 20, Kahului; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.

Linda McAlpine, 57, Waiehu; DUI; $300 fine, $437 in fees, $275 blood draw fee.

Spencer Mellenbrunch, 30, Makawao; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees, $50 urine draw fee.

Kailea Moikeha, 24, Kula; DUI $150 fine, $437 in fees.

KS Moses, 26, Makawao; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.

Karson Rekis, 29, Pukalani; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.

Chelsea Vincent, 20, Kahului; DUI; $300 fine, $437 in fees, $275 blood draw fee.

Devin Jamal Weldon, 22, Wailuku; DUI (second offense), excessive speeding; five-day jail term; $1,000 fine, $437 in fees, driver retraining class.

Christopher Michael White, 30, Lahaina; DUI; $300 fine, $437 in fees.
