Kamehameha Maui receives No. 3 seed in D-I tournament

Kamehameha Schools Maui was seeded third in the Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Girls Soccer State Championships Division I bracket announced Sunday, while Maui

Interscholastic League Division II champion Seabury Hall did not receive a seed.

King Kekaulike is to face Mo-analua in a Division I first-round game Wednesday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex on Oahu, with the winner advancing to a game against top-seeded Iolani in Thursday's quarterfinal round. Kamehameha will play Thursday against the winner of a first-round game between Punahou and Pearl City.

Seabury will meet Kauai in the first round for the right to take on fourth-seeded Radford on Thursday.

Mililani got the No. 2 seed in D-I, and Konawaena was seeded fourth. Kamehameha Kapalama, last year's champion, is not in the field.

In D-II, defending champion Mid-Pacific is the No. 1 seed, Kapaa is the No. 2 and Hawaii Prep the No. 3.
