Couple have big stretch of sand all to themselves

Washington state visitors Jeff and Marie Heckman stroll hand in hand down a nearly deserted Big Beach on Saturday morning in Makena. Marie Heckman said that she grew up on Maui and Big Beach was always one of her favorites. “We’re just out for a morning stroll before it getting crowded on a Saturday,” she said.
