Yasumasa Sakuma, 84, of Kahului, died on February 2, 2013, at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013, at Kahului Hongwanji Mission at 4:00 p.m. ?Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Sakuma was born in Lanai City, HI on June 9, 1928. He was the retired owner/operator of Valley Isle Drapery and Furnishings.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Lillian Sakuma.
He is survived by his sons Alan (Joy) Sakuma, Darryl (Michele) Sakuma; grandson Nyles (Donelle) Sakuma, 2 great grandchildren; brothers Yoshihisa (Jane) Sakuma, Tsuyoshi Sakuma; and sister Evelyn (Thomas) Nagano.
