The Maui Interscholastic League-champion Kamehameha Schools Maui boys soccer team finished third in the Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Division I State Championships on Saturday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex.
The Warriors (13-3-1) beat Kealakehe 2-1 behind goals from Chandler Alo in the 31st minute and Brennan Joaquin in the 47th minute on an assist from Kainalu Kealoha.
Kealakehe (15-2-1) got within one on a goal by Keale Connor in the 76th minute.
MIL runner-up King Kekaulike (10-2-5) and Hilo (9-6-4) battled to a 1-1 tie in the seventh-place game. Lionel Mills scored for Na Alii in the 36th minute and Hilo's Adryan J-Vidad got the equalizer in the 69th minute.
In the Divison I?final, Kalani beat Punahou 3-2 (penalty kicks 3-2).
In the Division II final, Kapaa beat Mid-Pacific 2-1.
