A 41-year-old Kanaio man was arrested after he hit his sister with a construction level during an argument at a Kanaio residence early Sunday, police said.
Bail was set at $5,000 for Jason Villiarimo, who was charged with second-degree assault.
The assault occurred at 12:50 a.m., with Villiarimo's 33-year-old sister suffering an injury to her right hand when she blocked the level, said Lt. Jayson Rego of the Criminal Investigation Division. She refused medical treatment.
