Search for surf leads to Waiehu

She said she was surfing in Waiehu because she couldn’t find surf elsewhere. “It’s all there is,” she said. “There were some fun waves.” Weather forecasters predicted surf would rise to advisory levels today through Sunday morning on the north-facing shores of Maui and the north- and west-facing shores of Molokai.
