The University of Hawaii baseball team lost 9-5 to Oregon on Sunday, remaining winless in the teams' season-opening series at Murakami Stadium in Honolulu.
Ryon Healy hit a solo home run and finished 4-for-5 with three RBIs for the Ducks (3-0), who totaled 16 hits. Aaron Payne was 4-for-5 and scored three runs.
Piikea Kitamura was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs for the Rainbows (0-3). Andre Real was 2-for-4.
Cole Irvin (1-0) earned the win, allowing three runs in seven innings.
Connor Little (0-1) permitted five runs - four earned - in 6 1/3 innings.
The teams will finish their series today.
