Tiana Sakumoto pitched a two-hitter and went 2-for-3 with a double as the Kamehameha Schools Maui softball team defeated Maui High 6-0 at Pasty Mink Field on Saturday, the first day of the Maui Interscholastic League season.
Sakumoto struck out five batters. The Warriors' Kaui Uwekoolani was 3-for-4 with a double, and Cheyenne Maio-Silva and Kaiulani Vila each went 2-for-3.
