Hawaii men rout Northern Arizona

The University of Hawaii men's basketball team routed Northern Arizona 84-50 in a BracketBusters game Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Christian Standhardinger had 21 points and nine rebounds and Vander Joaquim added 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Rainbow Warriors (16-11), who outscored the Lumberjacks (10-17) 35-18 in the second half.

Hauns Brereton added 13 points and Davis Rozitis had 10 rebounds for Hawaii, which shot 31-of-63 from the field and held a 47-32 rebounding advantage.

Dewayne Russell scored 14 points and Gabe Rogers added 12 for Northern Arizona.

The 'Bows will host UC Santa Barbara on Thursday and Cal Poly on March 2. They will conclude the regular season at Cal State Northridge.
