After 85 days at the Puunene shelter, I finally found my happy ending. My name is Bam Bam, and I was one of almost 200 of Maui's orphaned pets that found a new home last month. Thanks to a new transfer program at the Maui Humane Society called "The Wings of Aloha," more than 50 pets got another shot at finding a family in February. With the help of several rescue groups in Hawaii, Oregon, Washington and even Canada, more of my friends are going far and wide! Not only did I get to have an amazing trip to Canada, but I found a fantastic family to love. I know Maui is a small place and not everyone can take all of us shelter pets in, but now anyone can help buy us a plane ticket or even travel with us to our new homes. Now you can help us spread the spirit of aloha around the world and help a shelter pet at the same time!
